Becky Taylor-Brooks, JD is an Associate, registered Patent Attorney, with Seager, Tufte & Wickhem and is based remotely in Nampa, Idaho. Becky has been practicing since 2000, providing IP and general legal advice primarily to semiconductor and electromechanical companies. Prior to law school, Becky dedicated three years to the semiconductor industry working in maintenance on photolithography and etch wafer processes. She then moved into the custom manufacturing industry and worked for eighteen years in Engineering for Plexus, Corp. As an Engineer, Becky worked on various complex telecommunications, aerospace, medical, gas and electric metering, and Radio Frequency (RF) technologies. Becky brings a practical, strategic, business-oriented approach to her work for clients.
Prior to joining Seager Tufte & Wickhem LLP, Becky worked as an independent contractor for a leading law firm, Of-Counsel at Otterstedt & Kammer, Associate Counsel at Brooks, Cameron & Huebsch, and Contractual Patent Counsel at Pedersen and Co. Becky received a J.D. from the Concordia University School of Law, and a B.A. in Electronics Engineering from I.T.T. Technical Institute.
Becky is licensed to practice in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), as well as the state courts of Idaho.
